We want to thank all our customers for their support and understanding at this trying time.
ADVICE DUE TO COVID-19
SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY
As the lockdown continues, we’re undergoing preparations at SUJA to ensure a quick re-start for our customers. When lessons are allowed to resume, we assure that we will be taking all the necessary precautions with utmost comfort for our learners and instructors.
THE PPE STEPS WE’RE TAKING TO ENSURE SAFETY
Our driving instructors will follow the PPE requirements on every lesson
Vehicle sanitisation
Our instructors will prepare the car and sanitise the steering wheel and other controls before and after every lesson.
Additional training
As part of safe and clean driving lessons, Suja’s instructors will be specifically trained in ways to reduce contamination and contactless approach.
Learner and Instructor’s safety
Every customer will be asked to declare that they are symptom free and will be required to cover mouth with mask.
We will of course venture to support any learner in the ‘critical worker’ category and will do all we can to help them qualify. Please email us for help at: admin@sujadrivingschool.co.uk
Please support the government’s campaign to contain the spread of Covid-19 as outlined here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
Due to uncertain circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic, please be aware that we will of course entertain those customers who have pre-booked their lessons with us as soon as the operations resume. Therefore, we advise you to book your driving lessons with us as soon as possible, so that your slot is entertained first when the lockdown is lifted.
Please note that both Theory and Practical testing have been suspended and details can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-driving-tests-and-theory-tests/
You can still get an emergency test during the suspension period if your work is critical to the COVID-19 response, or you work in a critical sector.
These include:
- health and social care
- education and childcare
- key public services
- local and national government
- food and other necessary goods
- public safety and national security
- transport
- utilities, communication and financial services
If you’re a key worker, for example you work in a hospital or as a carer, you can apply for a practical driving test https://www.gov.uk/apply-emergency-driving-test
